Chelmsford County High School strives to provide an all-round education that enables its girls not only to achieve their best academically, but also to benefit from a broad and enriching experience beyond the classroom. For the School to continue to be successful in this quest we need to provide an environment and facilities for a truly 21st century education, and to this end, we have clear plans to develop the campus further.
We are delighted that, thanks to the Selective Schools Expansion Fund (SSEF) initiative, we now have a new sports hall (Chapman Sports Centre), a new teaching block (Bancroft Building) and a new Library facility. Moreover, thanks to Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) monies, we have been able to modernise our Vernon-Harcourt Building, our original 1907 teaching block.
