Year 8 Meet the Tutor Evening gives parents the opportunity to meet their daughter’s new Form Tutor. They will have been in the capable hands of our specialist Year 7 tutors for their transition year – however in Year 8 they pick up their tutor for the next 4 years.
The evening starts with some talks in the hall. Mr Lawlor welcomes our parents followed by Mr Selby talking about Teaching and Learning. Miss Harrison then explores the Pastoral World with parents before handing over to the Year 8 Leader/s.
Parents then get to see their daughter’s form room and they are also given the opportunity to ask any questions they may have.
All in all, it is an enjoyable evening which helps the team build those lasting relationship with families.
